We receive information directly from you when you register and communicate on the Platform. We collect and we process only the data that is necessary to use the functionality of the Platform when you choose to share it.

When you register on the platform, your login details (name, surname, e-mail) are collected and stored. Email, area of interest to which you belong (community member, journalist, expert, member of a social group) as well as information about your activities on the platform and your IP address.

Registration allows you to use all the features of the Platform. You will be able to do so later with your consent to provide additional information.

This will allow you to collaborate (comment, make suggestions in the later stages of the platform development) topics, vote on them, clarify information, etc.), i.e. you become a community member of Media4Change. When processing data we:

• administer your profile and platform;
• we enable your activities and create opportunities to submit offers on the Platform;
• provide you with access to the collaboration space, resources and other features of the Platform;
• we collect depersonalised statistics when we are required by the European Commission to analyse and provide data to the funding body;
• send you updates and notifications;
• personal data may also be processed in the event of a legal dispute.

What is the legal basis for processing data on the platform?

By registering on the platform, you agree with the National Institute for Social Integration regarding the use of the services provided on the platform in accordance with the terms of use. Thus, the legal basis for processing your data when you register and / or use the Platform is to enforce the agreement reached during the registration phase.

With your consent, we process your email. email address as part of the Platforms mailing list. In the event of a legal dispute, personal data are also processed for the legitimate interests of the National Institute for Social Integration.

Who has access to your data?

All Super Administrators and Platform Administrators have access to your data. Only Media4Change representatives can become them.

By default, your public profile shows minimal information (name, photo (if you upload it), int). All your profile information is visible to members of the platform community.

If you create a proposal, post a comment, add a source or other material on the Platform, members of the Media4Change community will see you as the creator of the proposal / comment / deposit unless you choose to see it only in the editorial office.

Only non-personal statistics on users' activities will be provided to the European Commission. No third parties involved in data processing activities have access to the personal data of members of the community.

How long do we keep your data?

We keep your personal information as long as you have a registered account. After a user deletes an account, all personal data is also deleted immediately. For the purposes of collecting statistics related to reporting to the European Commission, we may store data for 5 years from 2021 onwards. November 30.

What rights do you have as a data subject?

All users who are data subjects as defined in the GDPR have the following rights:

• the right to withdraw your consent to the use of your data at any time (you can delete your data or the entire profile at any time);
• the right to access your personal data processed on the Platform;
• the right to correct and update your personal data processed on the Platform;
• the right to delete - this right could be exercised in cases where personal data are no longer needed, personal data are processed illegally, the data subject has withdrawn consent;
• the right to request a restriction on the processing of one's personal data, which can be exercised when the consumer disputes the accuracy of the processing of personal data where the processing is unlawful, when the data is no longer needed but the user requests that the data be retained due to legal claims.
